Peter Pig 15mm figures Peter Pig is one of the world's leading 15mm figure manufacturers. We make 5500 different figures and models. These are distilled into 1800 (15mm) packs. Every range has an associated set of rules. Also, there are related 15mm scenery ranges to accompany the figure ranges. In these days of wandering measures of sizes into 18mm, 12mm and other sizes close to 15mm; Peter Pig has remained true to the 15mm ideal. These other sizes are often an attempt by a manufacturer to create a market for just their peculiar size. It is also used by sculptors who cannot work well with the 15mm size restriction and so need extra size in order to create acceptable sculpts. Peter Pig will continue to do 15mm wargame figures. We will also constantly return to each range in order to carry out updates and additions. Thus we have 15mm ranges with longevity and future potential.
ACW boxed sets
Boxed Sets These army suggestions include the troops, bases, flags and markers you need to get in to CWB. The army is the normal 2 division type needed for a standard CWB game.
How to assemble the boxed set
1. Artillery. The 4x4 cm bases are for the artillery guns. Glue 1 gun and 4 crew to an artillery base. The gun and crew should all be glued on as they are not separated for any part of the game. PP gun crews either come in firing or loading teams. 2. Generals There will be a C in C (corps commander) base. This should be 4 x 4 cm. There will also be 2 divisional commander bases. These are 3 x 4 cm depth.
3. Infantry. The basic infantry unit in CWB(Civil War Battles) is the infantry brigade. This is represented by 6 bases . Each base is a square of 3cm size. One base will be the command base and have half a pack (4 figures) from a command pack upon it. The other 5 bases will each have 3 figures on them. Thus a brigade will be made up from two packs of infantry and half a pack of command. 4. Markers. In CWB figures are used as markers to show the status of a unit. The half base marker bases should be 3 x 1 cm and be cut from spare 3x3 cm bases.
Necessary markers are disorder, half base and casualty. The bases in CWB die in half base increments thus the need for a few spare half bases. These can be made from spare infantry figures.
The suggestion here provides an army of 6 brigades(3 per division) and 4 gun batteries. It is perfectly correct that no cavalry are in this army. They can be added by future purchases but were not always with the infantry.
