Peter Pig 15mm figures Peter Pig is one of the world's leading 15mm figure manufacturers. We make 5500 different figures and models. These are distilled into 1800 (15mm) packs. Every range has an associated set of rules. Also, there are related 15mm scenery ranges to accompany the figure ranges. In these days of wandering measures of sizes into 18mm, 12mm and other sizes close to 15mm; Peter Pig has remained true to the 15mm ideal. These other sizes are often an attempt by a manufacturer to create a market for just their peculiar size. It is also used by sculptors who cannot work well with the 15mm size restriction and so need extra size in order to create acceptable sculpts. Peter Pig will continue to do 15mm wargame figures. We will also constantly return to each range in order to carry out updates and additions. Thus we have 15mm ranges with longevity and future potential.
Special Orders Special packs
The notes below are not intended to patronise customers. They are written in big letters etc. in order to help the many customers who have found the mechanisms difficult to follow. We will continue to modify this page in order to attain that elusive clarity.
Quite often customers need an order which does not consist of a standard pack.
Of course we like to help our customers, but some requests are not possible.
This page is only for customers who have already contacted us about a request for a special pack and had it confirmed by us as "possible".
A special order pack allows customers to change the proportions within a pack.
It will not allow a customer to combine items from differing packs.
e.g. Customer “Can you change the contents of pack XXX so that only the LMG figures are present”. PP= “That is fine and we are happy to do that. Thanks for your order.”
e.g. Customer “Can I have two figures from pack XXX and 3 figures from pack YYY and the other 3 from pack ZZZ?”. PP=”Sorry we cannot do that”.
Discount is not available on these special orders.
After requesting a special pack(s) we will inform the customer of the charge based on multiples of £4.50
e.g customer " I would like 4 packs of German LW MG42s but with standing figures only, no lying down poses"
PP "Fine, please use the shopping cart and pay for 4 special packs (see button below) and we will refer the order to your E mail because it has special packs on it."
customer "OK , will do"
PP “Thanks " we will get the order up to the workshop for special casting".
Special orders purchase button This is the button you use to order special packs. If you are ordering 3 special packs, then use the button and insert quantity as “3”.
Special order (SSSSS). Multiples of £4.50
Why all this fuss?
This is a frequent question from customers. “Why won’t you change all the packs around for me at no extra cost?”
Several reasons. 1. The moulds at PP are designed to fill the packs in the normal ratios of poses. When a special pack is made, other figures have to be destroyed as the special pack has changed the ratio of stock. 2. PP team have to spend time to make a 1 off pack. 3. Time to process the request in terms of checking if the special pack is possible (some folk want to mix multiple packs which is not possible)
